Affiliate Disclosure
The New Hardware participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program and direct partnerships with device manufacturers. When you click on certain links on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
The short version
- Some links are affiliate links. We earn a commission if you buy through them.
- You pay the same price either way.
- Affiliate relationships do not influence our scores or recommendations.
- Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled as such.
How we keep reviews honest
Our editorial process separates scoring from monetisation. The AI Score rubric (see methodology) is applied identically to every device — including devices we have no affiliate relationship with. We track and publish device discontinuations, including previously recommended ones, so you can see our track record.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates. The New Hardware is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
- Direct brand partnerships. Some manufacturers run their own affiliate programs. Where we participate, the commission structure is disclosed on the relevant device page.
Sponsored content
Any paid placement, sponsored review, or featured listing is labelled with a visible "Sponsored" badge and a brief explanation. Sponsored content does not receive an AI Score.
